​Confirming enhancing the infrastructure in the industrial city.
Representatives of business Council of Asharqia Chamber in Khafji and the Municipal Council have agreed to maintain the formation of a working group of members of both councils, and the coordination between the two councils to serve the province, and contributes to its development especially in terms of economy.
This was during the meeting that was held on Sunday April 2016 24 of the two councils in the branch of the Chamber, The delegation of the Business Council was chaired by chairman of the Council Mohammed bin Suleiman Al Balawi, and the Municipal Council Khalid Shahatha Al Anizi, where it has witnessed the presence of a number of members of both councils, and they have discussed the required services in the industrial city of Khafji, the two parties have agreed on the importance of the city of Al Khafji regarding the investment and geographically to keep being one of the most important northern gates of the kingdom, and the emphasis on the need to improve, developing and completing its infrastructure and municipal services projects, in addition to the necessity to raise the level of quality in its services.
The two parties focused on the discussion of the development of electrical service in the city, stressing the vitality of the organization of the delivery of the service process and specially the industrial area, and not to cut it without a prior notice, in order to preserve the interests of investors in the city, noting that any violation by any factory can be processed through municipal procedures such as the renewal of licenses and the signing of contracts of industrial lands.
